About Lo & Vee
Lo Whitehead and Vee Hartley are artist and illustrtors based in Leeds UK. Both run their own independent practices and they came together on this joint venture in May 2015 to form Lo & Vee, a collaborative project in which they run art workshops aimed at communities and families and create large scale artworks and exhibitions.
"We believe that art is for everyone. We also believe that art can bring people together, strengthen existing relationships and increase confidence. Our classes are designed to break down the fear for anyone who says ‘I can’t draw!’ or ‘I don’t know how to paint!’ by throwing out the rule book and showing everyone how by using everyday objects we can make original, exciting and imaginative art works. "
Lo and Vee have just completed an artists residency with Leeds Central Library and are now available to hire for commisions. They have collaborated with Local and upcoming business',
such as House of Koko in Chapel Allerton, Leeds
and Whites Deli in Headingly, Leeds.
